Day 4 (Sun)
WAY over shot on carbs today, but what I like about this app is that is keep everything in perspective. It gives me seven day average. In the past, one slip would end up in bender because my perfectionism would put me in the all or nothing mindset. However, seeing the average being still within my deficit helped me not freakout like I normally would. I just learned I can’t eat that much rice at once and there are a lot of carbs in sauce so get it on the side. when possible. I’m really learning how much of these macronutrients are actually in what I’m eating.
The more important thing is that I wasn’t reckless, I picked the food with the intention of staying within my macros. I made a mistake. And I can move on better for next time. I’ve always known that intellectually, but interface helped that sync psychologically as well. Really slacked on the water though.
