Day 6 (Tues)
Back on track with the macros. I did do some research though and found that pineapples and grapes are kinda high in sugar. So I’m going to try to stick to strawberries, grapefruit,
For water, I should be drinking 1L for every 50-60g of protein. So I really need to hit that 2L at least. Today was tough with the shakes. I set out just to drink them but after the third one, I wanted to get some chicken and rice. However, knowing how my mind likes to trick myself into accommodating the more comfortable route, I thought it was really important not to deviate. Even if I could stay in my macros. Also, it was just for one day. I wasn’t starving, I just wanted to eat something. If I was starving or lightheaded, it would have been a different story. I just didn’t feel like not eating. And I think a part of building trust with myself is doing what I say I will do. So I stuck with it.
Also, all them shakes gave me room to have popcorn for dinner which is always a plus.
